It is interesting that someone has hacked a keyboard at all. I am also wondering how different a keyboard for a Mac is in relation to one that you would by for a PC. I agree it has been proven that a keyboard can be hacked leaving behind pieces even after a wipe and reload.
How possible is it that PC users are going to have to worry about yet another type of attack? The issue was mainly with digits - I would start entering them and after three or four it would start entering the wrong digit. It would then get increasingly difficult to get the correct digit to come up: I'd often have to enter and delete each one times before the correct one would show. As you can imagine, it was a great concern and hindrance with online banking etc. It was dated from around the time problems started. I've uninstalled it and keyboard entry seems to be back to normal.
When I saw "LogMeIn" it rang a bell - I think when I had a different problem a few years ago I uninstalled something from them at that time and the problem went away. So he did and he wiped out everything on my Laptop. To my surprise and to his dismay, He fixed my laptop keyboard. All functioning well. Not until I plugged in again the WD passport hard drive that has a Security thing and needs admins permission before you can unlock.
