Windows live mail imap sent items folder

Microsoft is abandoning live mail they are pushing folks to the new stuff. I wouldn't expect them to offer any additional support on live mail. I set up the new mailbox, but it has created a Sent Items folder in the storage folder location. If I change the root back to blank, the inbox works but all the other folders don't?
